Property profile
Ce contenu n’est pas encore disponible dans votre langue.
| Why | Fill in the property’s passport: currency, time zone, check-in and check-out times, address, languages — things you set once and that shape everything else, from the Planner to the Booking Engine. |
| Who | The owner — at launch, and later when the property moves or changes currency. |
| What you’ll get | A completed profile and a map of the settings: the “Settings” hub, the six tabs of the profile, and what lives on each tab. |
| Limitations | The “User profile” tab is a placeholder — the section is in development; “Property type” is picked from a catalog, not typed in by hand. |
Every property has a passport: currency, time zone, default check-in and check-out times, coordinates, emails, and languages. You set it once, and it quietly shapes everything else — from the Planner grid to which languages a guest sees in the Booking Engine. This article covers where the profile lives and what every field means.
Where the profile lives
Section titled “Where the profile lives”The profile opens from the “Settings” hub — the name for both the section in the left menu and its first screen: “Property configuration sections”, shown as cards. Among them is “Property profile” with the caption “Currency, time zone, languages, integrations”; alongside sit “Rooms configuration”, “Taxes”, “Guests”, “Guest form”, “Payments”, “Integrations”, and “Email templates”.
- Open “Settings” in the left menu.
- Click the “Property profile” card.
- The “Profile” page opens — captioned “User account and property account settings” — with six tabs: “User profile” · “Property account” · “Coordinates” · “Settings” · “Billing” · “Languages”.
This article covers the “Property account”, “Settings”, “Coordinates”, and “Languages” tabs. The “Billing” tab is about the property’s subscription — it has an article of its own: Subscription and billing.
Property account
Section titled “Property account”The “Property account” tab shows the card in read-only mode; “Edit” makes it changeable (“Create” while no property account exists yet). The fields:
- Name — how the property is called in the system.
- “Property type” — picked from a catalog of 25 types; on the demo property it is “Hotel”.
- Currency — the currency of every price in the property; EUR on the demo property.
- “Time zone” — Europe/Berlin (UTC+2) on the demo property, for example.
- “Default check-in time” and “Default check-out time” — 2:00 PM and 11:00 AM, for example.
- Latitude and Longitude — the property’s coordinates; filled in on the “Coordinates” tab.
- “Bookings email” and “Administrative email” — two of the property’s addresses: reservations@… and front.desk@… on the demo stand.
Result: the default check-in and check-out times are set here and serve as the basis for check-ins and check-outs in the Planner.
Behavior settings
Section titled “Behavior settings”The “Settings” tab gathers the property’s behavior toggles:
- “Allow editing OTA bookings” — lets you edit bookings that arrived from channels; off on the demo stand.
- “Digital check-in via MAX” — a service-level toggle; not covered here.
Below is the email notifications block:
- “Send voucher to guest” — on by default.
- “Notify about a new booking”.
- “Notify about problems with channel bookings”.
- “Channel errors and recovery” — the toggle is inactive for now, captioned “The feature is being enabled in stages”.
Coordinates and address
Section titled “Coordinates and address”The “Coordinates” tab: a search field — “Enter an address or property name” — and a “Search” button. The found point fills in “Latitude” and “Longitude” — the same values shown in “Property account”. Below is the “Property coordinates map”.
Property languages
Section titled “Property languages”The “Languages” tab is the property languages: a table of “Language · Status · Public · Actions”. The caption above it: “These languages are used by the translation editors”. The rule of publicity, verbatim: “Public languages go into the Booking Engine and the Guest Portal. The default language is always public.” On the demo property, Russian is the default language and public, and English is “public” too.
Public here is about the guest, not about your own interface: the system’s language is switched in the header (“Change language”), while the “Public” flag decides in which languages a guest sees the Booking Engine and the Guest Portal.
What’s not here
Section titled “What’s not here”- “User profile” — the tab is in the list, but inside it is a placeholder: “Available soon”, “This section is under development”. There is nothing to document yet.
- Currency changes on the fly — the currency runs through every price in the property, and changing it on a live property would mean recalculating prices in rates and the Price Manager. Treat the currency as a decision for the long run.
- A “chain-wide” profile — each property has its own profile; there are no profile settings for a group of properties. Several properties share one account, but each keeps its own passport.
