Themes and appearance

WhyMake the booking module feel like part of your website, not a third-party block: the guest should not sense a “switch” to someone else’s page.
WhoHotel owners and administrators who run the website; no developer needed.
What you’ll getA theme chosen from six presets, colors and fonts matched to the site, your logo in the module and the widget, and the widget fitted to the page width.
LimitationsThe module has no dark mode. We make no promises about future themes or appearance options — this article covers what the PMS offers today.

The booking module lives on your website — and it should look like part of the website, not like a third-party widget. The look is assembled in the PMS from ready-made parts: a theme, colors, a font, a logo.

Changes take minutes and need neither a developer nor edits to the page code — everything happens in one place, the Online booking section.

The base is one of six ready-made themes: CLASSIC, MODERN, BOUTIQUE, COMPACT, VIBRANT, or EMERALD. On top of the theme, colors and fonts are customized so the module’s palette follows your website, not the other way around. The hotel’s logo takes its place in both the module header and the widget — the guest sees the brand, not an anonymous form.

All of it lives in the PMS, in the Online booking section — the same place as the embedding and the module’s other settings: the “Theme” card for the look, “Settings” for the logo and property details, “Widget” for the search block on the website.

A theme is the base layer of the look: six ready-made presets, any of which can be a starting point. The details — colors and fonts — are tuned on top of whatever you pick, so there is no wrong choice: every preset can be brought to the look you need.

  1. In the PMS, open the Online booking section and pick the “Theme” card — six presets plus color customization.
  2. Choose one of the themes: CLASSIC, MODERN, BOUTIQUE, COMPACT, VIBRANT, or EMERALD.
  3. Look at the module the way a guest would, in the live preview: the result is visible right away, without a reload.

Outcome: the look changed in minutes; the website code stayed untouched.

A preset is a starting point. From there, colors and fonts are matched to the website: take the values from the site’s own styling, and the module follows them instead of arguing with them. Every edit shows up in the live preview immediately, so you can keep tuning until the module feels like your own.

As with changing a theme, no developer is involved: colors and fonts are changed in the same Online booking section, in a couple of clicks.

A practical order: first pick the preset closest to the site in spirit, then adjust the colors and the font — that leaves the fewest steps between the choice and the result.

One logo serves both the module and the widget — it is uploaded once. JPG, PNG, or WebP files up to 2 MB work. The logo lives with the property details: in the same settings block as the name, the city, and the contacts.

  1. In the Online booking section, open the “Settings” card.
  2. Find the “Hotel information” block — it contains the “Logo” field.
  3. Drag the image into the field or pick a file: the caption by the field says it — “JPG, PNG, WebP · up to 2 MB”.

Outcome: the hotel’s brand is visible to the guest in both the full module and the widget on the website.

The booking module is responsive: on a phone the guest goes through the same steps as on a desktop, just in a narrower layout. The widget — the search block on the website page — is fitted to the page grid by hand: its maximum width is set separately for each screen type.

The width here is precisely a maximum: the value works as a ceiling the search block will not stretch beyond.

  1. In the Online booking section, open the “Widget” card.
  2. In the “Appearance” block, find the “Size and position” group.
  3. Set the width for each screen: “Width on desktop”, “Width on tablet”, and “Width on mobile”. The value is a number with a unit, px by default; an empty field means no limit.
  4. Check the result in the preview: the “Mobile”, “Tablet”, or “Full” switch shows the widget at each width.

Outcome: the widget looks like part of the page on any screen — from a wide monitor to a phone.

While the switch is off, the widget inherits the module’s look: the caption under it says exactly that — the widget uses the booking module’s theme. If the widget should look different from the full module, turn on the “Separate widget theme” switch — and style the search block on its own.

This is handy when the module and the widget live on different pages: each page has its own accent, and the widget can follow its page.

  • No dark mode. The module has no dedicated dark theme: for a dark website, the look is matched by hand, through color customization.
  • No promises about new themes. How many themes or settings will appear later is not promised in advance: this article describes what the Online booking section offers today.
  • Appearance is the outer layer. Themes and colors do not change the booking flow: the steps the guest takes stay the same.
