Account and team: set up once
Questi contenuti non sono ancora disponibili nella tua lingua.
| Why | Collect the “set up once” settings — access, team members, the subscription, properties, the property profile — into one map: without it, this section is easy to walk past. |
| Who | The owner — at launch, and when team members start joining. |
| What you’ll get | A “who sets what” route, and a sense of which settings are made once and which live every day. |
| Limitations | The control center is the System menu and the Settings section; after launch, little gets edited. |
Account settings are made before the first booking: who can sign in, what pays for the system, how the hotel is described. After that, the day belongs to guests and bookings, and these screens rarely need you — so the section is collected into a map: what lives in the account, who sets what, and where to go for every setting.
What lives in the account
Section titled “What lives in the account”- Roles — who can do what in the system. A role’s permissions are collected per module, for viewing or editing. Three system roles come built in — Owner (owner), Manager (manager), Viewer (viewer) — and beyond them you can create your own access group.
- Team members — each with a login of their own, created by an administrator: the login and password are set by hand. The access editor holds the role and, when needed, visibility by room category: every category at once, or only a list of categories you pick.
- Subscription — what pays for the system. There is one subscription, and all modules work inside it — the PMS, the Booking Engine, the Guest Portal, and the Channel Manager; the invoice holds the subscription only, with no commission on bookings. A subscription belongs to a property: the card is attached on the Billing tab, and until then the property waits for a card.
- Properties — a second property lives in the same account: you switch between properties with the selector above the menu, and each property has its own subscription and its own data. Apartments have a scenario of their own: Unit owner access (apartments).
- Property profile — the hotel’s passport in the system: currency, time zone, the standard check-in and check-out times, the property’s languages, and coordinates. It lives in Settings, under the Property profile card.
Who sets what
Section titled “Who sets what”| Question | Article |
|---|---|
| Create a login for a team member and set their access | Staff accounts: create a login and set access |
| Work out who sees and can change what | Roles and permissions: how access works |
| Add a second property | Multiple properties in one account |
| Set up the subscription and attach a card | Subscription and billing |
| Change the currency, time zone, or check-in time | Property profile |
| Give an apartment unit owner access to their unit | Unit owner access (apartments) |
Set up once, then leave alone
Section titled “Set up once, then leave alone”Rarely touched after launch:
- Property profile — until the hotel changes its rules, the check-in times, currency, and languages stay the same.
- Subscription — set up once; it can be canceled at any time.
- Roles — the system ones are usually enough, and a custom access group appears once the team’s duties have settled.
Changes all the time:
- Team members — a new person means a new login; duties grow, access follows.
And one boundary worth knowing in advance: several properties means several separate setups and subscriptions under one sign-in. There are no reports spanning all properties at once — every property is viewed and configured on its own.
