WhyConnect Airbnb in minutes and start selling: prices and availability flow from your calendar to the channel, and bookings arrive in the calendar grid.

What you’ll getA connected channel, matched categories and rates, and automatic price and availability delivery two years ahead.
LimitationsYou need the property ID (listing ID) — it comes from your Airbnb account. Bookings created before the channel was connected do not arrive by themselves: they are loaded manually for a period.

Connecting Airbnb is a short route from hand-editing a channel account to automatic distribution: two windows and a mapping step. The channel is found through search right in the system — the connection path runs through PMS screens, not through external accounts. This article covers the steps and what happens afterwards.

  • The property ID (listing ID) in Airbnb — the identifier of your listing on the channel’s side. It comes from your Airbnb account: the system connects to your specific property, so the connection cannot be set up without it.
  • Categories and rates created in the PMS. Mapping links what the channel knows about your property with what is set up in the system. If your rates are not created yet, start with the article Rate plans.
  1. Open the channel manager and press “Add channel”.
  2. Type the name in the searchable selector and pick Airbnb — then “Next”. Airbnb has a single entry in the catalog.
  3. In the “Airbnb connection” window, enter the property ID (listing ID) in the “Hotel ID in OTA” field — the one from your Airbnb account. Press “Connect”.

Result: the channel appears in the connected list — one step remains, mapping.

  1. On the connected channel’s card, press the “Mapping” icon.
  2. In the “Category and rate mapping” dialog, on the “Categories and occupancy” tab, pick a PMS room type for every channel category.
  3. On the “Rates” tab, link the channel’s rates to PMS rates.
  4. Press “Save mapping”.

Result: the channel’s categories and rates are paired with the system — everything after this runs on its own. What exactly gets mapped and the edge cases — in the article Mapping: match channel categories and rates.

After the mapping is saved, the system delivers prices and availability two years ahead on its own — there is nothing to send manually. Together with prices and availability, the restrictions go out to the channel too: minimum and maximum stay, and arrival and departure closures.

What was sent to the channel and with which status is visible on the “Events” tab — every delivery with its period and status: how to read the log — in the article Delivery log. For some channels in the catalog the delivery horizon is shorter than two years — if that matters to you, check with support before going live.

New Airbnb bookings arrive in the calendar grid automatically: the system accepts them itself, and a notification pops up in the corner of the screen. The source is visible on the booking itself — the channel’s name and logo; where exactly it is shown — in the article Bookings from channels.

Bookings created before the channel was connected do not arrive by themselves: load them manually for the period you need with the “Load bookings” button in the mapping header. The steps — in the article Past channel bookings.

  • Mapping shows the warning “The channel directory is empty. Check the channel connection and the property ID.” The system does not see the channel’s categories. Check the listing ID against your Airbnb account and make sure the channel is connected.
  • Deliveries in the log keep the FAILED status. Open the “Events” tab and look at the “Error” column of the entry — what exactly the channel rejected is shown in the error body. How to read such entries — in the article Delivery log.
