The price calendar: how to read and use it
Tento obsah zatím není dostupný ve vašem jazyce.
| Why | See prices and availability for all room types two weeks ahead at a glance — and spot where a price sags or a date sits empty. |
| Who | Administrators and owners who manage occupancy. |
| What you’ll get | You read the price grid at a glance, edit a single cell, and change prices for a whole period in bulk — with a preview of the result. |
| Limitations | The calendar window is 14 days, navigated with “Back 14 days”/“Forward 14 days”; this is a tool for viewing and editing prices, not analytics. |
The Price Manager is the workspace for prices, and its Calendar tab opens by default: a grid where prices and availability for all room types, two weeks ahead, are visible at once. This article covers reading that grid, fixing a single cell, and changing prices for a period in bulk — after checking the result in advance.
Open the calendar
Section titled “Open the calendar”Open “Price Manager” in the left menu — the Management section. The Calendar tab opens on its own; two more tabs sit next to it — “Bulk Update” and “Meals” — and above the tabs there is a hint, “How to work with the price manager”, with a “Learn more” link.
Four settings sit above the grid:
- “RATE PLAN” — which rate you are looking at: the prices in the grid are calculated for the selected rate.
- “ROOM TYPES” — all room types at once, or one specific type.
- “START DATE” — which day the window opens from.
- “Back 14 days” and “Forward 14 days” — to page through the window; the calendar always shows two weeks.
Reading the grid
Section titled “Reading the grid”The rows of the grid are room types: each carries a caption like “3 variants · max 2+1” — how many occupancy variants the room type has and the maximum party makeup (“2+1” — two adults and a child). The columns are dates with their day of the week. Inside a row you can see the base variant (“2 adults” with a “base” tag) and a “Variants · 2” button — it unfolds the supplements: “Early check-in” and “Late check-out”. What occupancy variants are — in Rate plans: how they work; how to set them up — in Occupancy variants.
A cell is the price for a date: a button like “79 €”, with a small digit next to it — how many rooms are free for that date. Price and availability are read together: you see both “what it costs” and “what we are selling with”.
Above the grid there is a mode switch: “Accommodation” or ”+ Meal”; in the second mode, meal prices join the grid. Next to it, a row filter: “All”, “With price exceptions”, “Inherited” — it helps you find rows where the price is not the row’s own but comes from inheritance or an exception. How rate inheritance works — in Rate plan inheritance.
Fixing a single cell
Section titled “Fixing a single cell”- Click the price button in the cell you need — an editor opens right in the cell.
- Change the “Price” and, if needed, the restrictions: the “Closed for sales”, “Closed for OTAs”, “No check-in (CTA)”, and “No check-out (CTD)” toggles, plus the minimum and maximum fields next to them.
- Confirm with “Done”; “Cancel” closes the editor without changes.
Result: the price and restrictions of a single date are updated — without leaving the calendar.
For what every restriction means — see Sales restrictions.
Bulk changes for a period
Section titled “Bulk changes for a period”- Switch to the “Bulk Update” tab.
- In the “1. SCOPE” section, set the rate, the period (“From”/“To”), the room types — with “Select all” and “Exclude all” buttons — and the days of the week: alongside individual days there are “Weekdays”, “Weekends”, and “All” shortcuts. Unneeded dates are removed via excluded dates.
- In the “2. PRICES” section, choose the method: “Set price”, ”+/− amount”, or ”+/− percent”. The “For all” field sets one value for all room types at once — it applies where no value of its own exists.
- Restrictions for the same period are set in the “3. RESTRICTIONS” section — what each one means is covered in Sales restrictions.
- Apply the changes with “Check and apply”. The result can be checked in advance — in the “Changes” panel, below.
Result: prices and restrictions are applied to all selected dates at once — with the result checked before applying.

The “Changes” preview
Section titled “The “Changes” preview”The right-hand panel of the Price Manager switches between “Overview” and “Changes”.
“Overview” opens by default: the prices of the selected rate over a long period — about three months ahead, with the rate and the start and end dates shown. This reaches beyond the two-week calendar window: you can see what is selling past the two weeks you have on screen.
“Changes” is the preview of the bulk update. Inside: the heading “The result of the current bulk update settings”, a “Recalculate” button — it refreshes the picture for the current settings — and a “Prices”/“Restrictions” switch for what exactly to show. Until a recalculation is made, the panel is empty: “No data to preview”.
Note that the “Prices”/“Restrictions” switch does not exist in the calendar grid itself — it belongs only to the bulk update preview.
Scenarios
Section titled “Scenarios”Weekends cost more. Fridays and Saturdays usually carry a higher price. The “Bulk Update” tab: tick Fri and Sat in the days of the week, choose ”+/− percent” with a value of 10 in the “2. PRICES” section — and apply, checking the “Changes” panel. The finer points of bulk edits — in Change prices: one date or in bulk.
Weekdays for longer stays. So that a midweek arrival does not stay a single night, tick Mon–Thu in the days of the week and set “Min stay” = 2 in the “3. RESTRICTIONS” section: an arrival on those days will only be possible with a stay of two nights or more. The full set of restrictions — in Sales restrictions.
Closing a sagging date. If a date should not be sold, find it in the calendar, click the price, and turn on “Closed for sales” — after “Done”, the date stops selling, including through connected channels. How “Closed for sales” differs from “Closed for OTAs” and the no-check-in/no-check-out closures — in Sales restrictions.
