PMS FAQ
Do I need to install anything?
No. The PMS runs in your browser — at the front desk, from home and from your phone. Nothing to install; all you need is the internet.
Is it convenient on a phone?
Yes: the Planner and the arrivals queue are adapted for a mobile browser — you can work right at the desk. There is no separate mobile app — everything lives on the web.
Where is our data stored, and who can access it?
In EU data centers. Access is role-based, and guests' passport data is encrypted at the application level.
How do roles and permissions work?
Three system roles — Owner, Manager and Viewer — plus unlimited custom ones. Permissions are set per 17 modules (view or edit), and an employee's visibility can be limited to specific room types: housekeeping sees statuses, the accountant sees money.
How long does getting started take?
Registration takes a minute — and the system already works. We set up the inventory, rates and channels together in 1–2 days; our help is optional, you can do it yourself.
How do we move from another system?
We transfer the property profile, room types with photos, rate plans and prices for 120 days ahead; active bookings move with you. The import runs in the background, without duplicates, and can be rerun. Or you can start from a clean slate.
How does housekeeping work in the system?
When a guest checks out, the room is flagged for housekeeping automatically. The system does not manage the cleaning team.
How are guest emails and questions handled?
The hotel mailbox connects to a shared queue, with settings picked up automatically. Email questions and Guest Portal questions live in one pipeline of 6 stages, and an overdue reply — by default after 8 hours — is visible immediately.
