Apartment networks

An apartment network in HotelsCalendar: one property's units in one calendar, the 'Apartment' class in rate plans, the network's website sells the whole inventory. 14-day trial.

Twenty units across six buildings: channel calendars in separate tabs, Excel as the 'source of truth', and the website showing the guest one apartment — so they go looking for the rest on Airbnb. HotelsCalendar gathers a property's units into one planner and keeps separate properties in one account: each with its own planner and subscription, switching in one click. You can start with a single property.

Apartment networks

A property's units — in one planner

Bookings, dates, guests, rates and availability — for every unit on one screen

A property's units live in one planner: the PMS runs them as a single inventory — bookings, dates, guests, rates and per-unit availability on one screen. The 'Apartment' class is in the rate plans, and the inventory's subscription is counted by it.

Grown into separate properties — each gets its own planner and subscription, switching in one click. The simplest start for a short-stay operator — without a months-long implementation project.

Growth and access

A network is run by a management company while the apartments belong to their owners — and each has their own way in. The manager creates a user and grants access only to their units: the owner sees their own apartments' bookings in the planner and can close a unit for renovation — without access to other people's bookings and bills.

Moving from another system: the property card, categories with photos, rate plans and prices 120 days ahead — the import runs in the background, without duplicates; we'll walk through it together.

A new property is added in the same account in a few steps — with its own subscription.

Channels — from the same calendar

The Channel Manager pushes all units from one calendar: changes go out by themselves, and channel bookings — Airbnb among them — arrive into the shared planner.

Separate properties in the account work the same way: their own channels, their own calendar, their own subscription.

The guest — by the link to their booking

One property or ten — the guest opens the personal link to their booking in the Guest Portal: prices by day, documents, services.

The service catalog is one, in the PMS: all of a property's units sell the same services, without a separate catalog in the portal.

The network's website sells the whole inventory

A guest searches for 'an apartment for four', not a specific unit: the Booking Engine on the network's website shows the inventory as a list — the guest picks a unit and dates by themselves, no back-and-forth, and the booking goes straight into the planner.

Which units sell on the website is controlled by rate plans: a room type can be hidden from the site with a checkbox. And for a single unit — say, a one-apartment landing page — the engine link opens straight on it.

Up to 4 rooms in one booking — for group requests across the whole inventory.

What this means for an apartment network

  • A property's units — in one planner
  • The network's website sells the whole inventory — the guest chooses
  • Channels — from one calendar, Airbnb among them
  • A unit owner with their own access: bookings and blocks for their apartment
  • The guest opens the link to their booking; one service catalog, in the PMS
  • Start with one property — grow in the same account

NextStart with one property and grow within the same account. A single unit rather than a portfolio — apartments: the same mechanics in miniature. The price by the 'Apartment' class is in the pricing calculator.

Questions and answers

Can an apartment's owner get access only to their unit?

Yes: the manager creates a user and grants access to the chosen apartments — the owner sees their unit's bookings in the planner and can close it for renovation.

Must the website sell the whole inventory?

No: a room type can be hidden from the site with a checkbox in the rate plan, and the engine link can open straight on the chosen units — for example, a one-apartment landing page.

Is the subscription counted per unit?

Subscription units are chosen during setup — rooms, beds or apartments; for an apartment network, that's apartments.

Will bookings created before the channel was connected appear by themselves?

No: they are migrated for the period you choose.
